Using a pendulum
A pendulum is an easy-to-use and safe tool that you can use to gain clarity on questions and choices that are troubling you. Before use, you can cleanse the pendulum's energy, for example in the light of the full moon or with the smoke of sage incense.
Keep the hand holding the pendulum completely still and hold the pendulum chain between your fingers in the hand you use more. Focus on the question and state it clearly, either out loud or in your mind. Start with definite yes and no answers so you can see how the pendulum expresses them.
A “yes” response can be, for example, a movement from right to left back and forth, a “no” from bottom to top, and a “maybe” or “I don’t know” a stopped position. A rotating movement in either direction also has its own meaning, for example, an invitation to move forward or backward.
