Piercing Age Limits

• Age 7: Earlobes with parental consent
• Age 16: Basic piercings with parental consent
• Age 18: All piercings. Microdermal, VCH and nipple piercings only for adults.

Piercing Aftercare Instructions

• Maintain a healthy lifestyle and ensure adequate hydration, a balanced diet, and rest. Good health and immunity promote healing.
• Do not move the jewelry or touch the piercing.
• Avoid sleeping on the piercing, tight clothing, and any other stress on the pierced area.
• Rinse the piercing twice a day with running water. You can also use pharmacy saline solution or Easy Piercing aftercare products for cleaning. This promotes healing.
• Avoid unnecessary wetting, soaking, bathing, swimming, sauna, etc. until the piercing is symptom-free (1-2 weeks).
• Ensure the piercing does not get dirty and prevent chemicals from entering the wound.
• If you must touch the piercing, always do so with clean hands. Regularly check the tightness of the threads with clean hands.

Oral Piercing Aftercare Instructions

• Brush your teeth morning and night.
• Change your toothbrush to a new one and use non-foaming toothpaste during the healing period. It is also recommended to use Easy-Piercing mouthwash morning and night.
• Rinse your mouth with clean cold water after every meal, snack, smoking, etc.
• Avoid playing with the jewelry, unnecessary touching, mucous membrane contact, and alcohol during healing.
• Drink plenty of cold liquids (ice water, ice cubes, etc.) and
• Sleep with your head elevated above your heart to prevent swelling.
• Regularly check the tightness of the threads with clean hands.

Signs of Infection

• Unusual, severe, intensifying, throbbing pain
• Redness, warmth, swelling
• The wound oozes inflammatory discharge (yellowish and foul-smelling)
• If the piercing becomes infected, do not remove the jewelry (even if a doctor says so) and seek antibiotics from a doctor.
• Your jewelry is made of implant-grade titanium.

Jewelry

• I recommend titanium as a material, not surgical steel.
• Surgical steel can be tried on a fully healed piercing.
• If the piercing starts to show symptoms, check the material of the jewelry, the correct size of the jewelry, and whether it has received mechanical irritation (rubbing from clothing, etc.).
