This year at the Kekri Fair, we will hear a lecture by Petra Hintikainen, who has studied the moon's influence for nearly 20 years. Her topic is the moon's influence according to folklore.

Our ancestors worked for hundreds, if not thousands, of years by following the lunar cycle. The waxing and waning phases of the moon dictated the rhythm of farm life and work.

The moon still orbits in the sky, and a new generation of moon followers has adopted this ancient tool. The lecture will cover the basics of the lunar cycle and offer tips on how to use it as an aid in one's own life.
